Beach Sessions 2024
What are lifestyle beach sessions?
The golden light, the family memories, the sand between your toes and all the laughter and joy...it really doesn't get any better than a good lifestyle beach session. Pair the relaxed style of "lifestyle photography" with some sunshine on the beach and you've got a dream photo session. I book limited amounts of lifestyle beach sessions each year (specific and limited weekends from April through October.) I offer both sunrise and sunset sessions in Sea Isle City, Ocean City, Avalon and Stone Harbor.
When should I book my lifestyle beach session?
As soon as you book your trip to the beach! As mentioned above, I only book a few sessions at the beach by request each year. Reach out and I'd love to get you on the calendar for 2024.
How do you approach lifestyle beach sessions?
I love starting with posed photos near the dunes as the lighting can go from two extremes at a beach session. We start the beginning of that hour with bright light, have a window of that golden light for a few minutes and then quickly move to dusk lighting (which usually means lots of color if we have a good sunset!) From posed family photos, we'll move closer to the water/middle of the beach for more posing with movement (e.g. photo to the side, photo above seated) and then end by the water (or in the water if requested!)
Beach sessions are 1 full hour, include unlimited photos (as many quality memories we capture in that hour), sneak peeks sent within 3 days and a digital gallery delivered to your inbox 2-3 weeks after your session. Beach sessions for 2024 are currently priced at $320 (including session price + travel fee.)
